PSALMS 96:12-15 • 12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; 15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
CHARACTER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN HE WILL FLOURISH LIKE A PALM TREE.
RIGHTEOUS MAN IS IN AGREEMENT WITH GOD. HE CAN COUNT ON GOD. GOD CAN COUNT ON HIM/HER. • HE/SHE IS A REPRESENTATIVE OF GOD
A PALM TREE CAN FLORISH. • PALM TREE ARE DROUGHT RESISTANT. A RIGHTEOUS MAN CAN WITHSTAND DROUGHT. • A RIGHTEOUS MAN CANNOT BE CONTROLLED BY THE CONDITIONS HE/SHE IS IN.
DON’T BE A LOCAL TREE. • BE A PALM TREE IN THE HOUSE OF GOD.
A PALM TREE WILL CONTINUE TO BEAR FRUITS EVEN IN THE OLD AGE.
PALM TREES • THEIR LEAVES ARE HEAVENLY. • A RIGHTEOUS MAN SHOULD BE OF HEAVENLY TRAITS.
PALM TREES GROW SLOWLY. • A RIGHTEOUS MAN GROWS SLOWLY IN THE HOUSE OF GOD, GAINING A LOT OF STRENGTH IN THE HOUSE OF GOD.
DON’T BE A DYING PALM TREE IN THE HOUSE OF GOD. • BE LIVELY AND ACTIVE PALM TREE.
BETTER HAVE A FEW LIVE PALM TREE THAN HAVE A THOUSANDS DEAD PLAM TREES.
CEDAR TREE GIVES OUT HARDWOOD. • A RIGHTEOUS MAN SHOULD BE STEADFAST AND STONG TO WITHSTAND ALL KNOCKS AND TEMPTATIONS, JUST LIKE A HARDWOOD CEDAR TREE.
CEDAR TREE GROWS TALL. • A RIGHTEOUS MAN WILL GROW TALL IN THE HOUSE OF GOD. HE/SHE WILL SEE THINGS FROM A FAR, VISIONS.
DON’T BE A DWARF CHRISTIAN. • BE A SUPPORTING CHRISTIAN LIKE A CEDAR TREE, OR A PILLAR.
A CEDAR TREE MEETS THE SUN FIRST. IT ALSO MEETS THE RAIN FIRST. • RAIN IS BLESSINGS FROM GOD. • A RIGHTEOUS MAN RECEIVES BLESSINGS FIRST.
PSALMS 84:10 • 10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
PSALMS 100:4 • 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
A RIGHTEOUS PERSON WILL STAY FRESH AND GREEN ALWAYS. • THIS IS BEACAUSE HE IS PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF GOD.
