Automated Steering • Set the steering wheel angle based on picture of road • Learning algorithm • Can edge detection simplify the incoming image?
Bumper to Bumper Stop and Go Driving • Automated driver latches on to the back of the car directly in front of it • Use centerline and width of vehicle outline to estimate distance • Edge detection to find the leading car’s location?
