Main objectives • the main objective was that the Germans wanted to take over that part of Europe • While German group A was already in a battle with France, Group B went West and then North into parts of Belgium and France • This was a plot to distract France so that they could move in and take them from the other side

Factors that led to the result of the battle • The German army outnumbered the allies almost two-fold • Hitler was lenient toward the enemy because Britain was a part of the allies • Because the British were mostly an “Aryan” race • He had great respect for Britain • He thought it was a shame to waste the “superior” race • Because he respected Britain so much he had hoped that his cease in bombings might persuade them to join his side
Consequences (attackers) • Because Hitler was lenient the Allied forces were able to bomb the Germans • Suffered many casualties because of it despite out numbering the Allies Consequences (defenders) • Once they had evacuated the city, the allies had to retreat • Leaving the Axis to take over Dunkirk
