The Southeast Explorer Mobile Learning Center is a self-contained RV that brings museum exhibits and educational programs to schools in Southeast Missouri. Students tour the RV, participate in interactive presentations, and explore exhibit displays. Topics include Native Americans, NASA, and Missouri history. Over 41,000 visitors and 1,900 presentations have been conducted.

The Southeast Explorer Service Area We have seen 127 Schools in 84 Towns within 25 counties
The Explorer is a self contained 38 foot RV, with a pull-out extension. Students enter the RV for the tour.
The tours are led by the Outreach Specialist using a PowerPoint presentation. Next, students have exploring time to visit the ten exhibit displays. Questions are encouraged by our Outreach Specialist. We limit group sizes to 26 students due to space limits. Before they leave, students receive Explorer pencils.
