PLM Process Flow PLM
Set up Process • Partner receives an invitation inviting them to join the PLM program. • Partner clicks on the link and agrees to Ts&Cs • Symantec sets up the partner in SFDC with a PLM profile • Partner logs in with normal PartnerNet username/password and visits Lead Page to view assigned Leads • Symantec Partner Marketing Centre calls the partner to talk them through how to use the portal and what we require from them. They also act as the first port of call for any technical issues : info@SymantecCampaignSupport.com PLM

FAQ • How long does the Partner have to touch the opportunity? • They should ensure a first touch within 5 days. • What happens if the partner does not touch the lead within 5 days? • Symantec will re-assign to a different partner if there is one with same country/specialization criteria. The partner could also be blacklisted/removed from the program if this happens (we can determine whether this be after the first time or after x amount of times that this happens). • How does the partner know a lead has been assigned to them? • The partnerwillreceive an email notification when a lead has been assigned to them. • Are opportunities coming from PLM eligible for ORR? • Yes, providingthattheymeet the standard Opp reg rules. partnerscanearnrebate by closingtheseopportunities. • What happens if the opportunity is rejected in OppReg? • The partnercanstillwork on the opportunity but itwon’tbeeligible to ORR.
