When Mistreated By Others: • “Then comes the devil…” • All will suffer unfair treatment by others: If live right, will suffer (2 Tim. 3:12; Luke 17:1). • Devil comes to incite to take matters into own hands, retaliate. He tries to cause one to think his actions are justified. • "Avenge not yourselves..." (Rom. 12:19). "Let not the sun go down on your wrath...Neither give place to the devil" (Eph. 4:26-27).
When Men Assemble to Worship God: • “Then comes the devil…” • The holiest of environment invaded by Satan – Job 1.6; 2.1 • Comes to cause men to offer insincere worship: with mouth, not heart; form rather than reality • What about you this morning???
