  2. This is how we will be for large group instruction and tests (assessments). The desks will be in rows. Activity: Large Groups

  3. Large Group is about me giving you information you need. So be quiet and get ready to hear new information, and take some notes. Conversation: NONE unless I tell you otherwise

  4. Please raise your hand if you need help or have questions. I do not trust standing, and blurting out is just plain rude and disruptive. There are other times I can help you one-on-one. Not right now. Help: Raise your hand please!

  5. Large Group is about you, just you. No cheating please. Feel free to remind others how to behave appropriately. I need the help. Integrity: Work Alone

  6. I’m giving you information you need for this, so focus, take some notes. There are other opportunities for slacking later.  Effort: pay attention, take notes

  7. This is when I need to give you information, so you are about to hear or see new stuff that you need to know. Doesn’t it seem valuable? Value: learning!

  8. Make sure your notebook and pencils are ready for large group instruction. We don’t have much time, so don’t waste the little bit we have together. Efficiency: be ready!
