    1. Alignment Process Of Two Focal Plane Array For Three Mirror Anastigmatic System By Roy Roberson

    2. FPA Alignment Process for TMA Wavefront measurement Add shims to secondary and tertiary mirror to minimize wavefront aberrations. Initial shim size are derived from CODE V and CMM data from vendor. Entrance window alignment Any modification of tertiary shim requires entrance window verification or re-alignment. EP window alignment is needed because the angle of incident and ray bundles are no longer symmetric. Perform through focus energy on detector (EOD) measurement on a collimated optical bench. EOD is a measure of optical health for the system in terms of focus and alignment. EOD is the ratio between central peak count verse background. Based on EOD data, Boresight, Tip/Tilt, Focus, and Clocking corrects 6 DOF for FPA

    3. Off Axis TMA Optical Path

    4. TMA is Inserted in a Vacuum Chamber

    5. Co-alignment of TMA to Optical Test Bench (Line of Sight and Clocking)

    6. Energy on Detector (EOD) A metric used in assessing the quality of electro-optical (EO) system during fabrication is the measurement of optical efficiency, ensquared energy or energy on detector (EOD)

    7. Definition of EOD

    8. Results of Through Focus EOD Data Collection

    9. Calculation for Clocking ,Boresight, Tip/Tilt and Focus

    10. Correcting for Focus and Tip/Tilt

    11. Correcting for Clocking and Boresight

    12. Conclusion Iterative process. Seeker must be cryogenically cooled. Initial person starting the alignment process will finish until alignment is complete Highly dependent on personal touch
