Published in 1957 Instructional book Ben Hogan’s Five LessonsWritten By Ben Hogan with Herbert Warren Wind
Character • In this book there is just a narrator and that is Ben Hogan • Ben Hogan was a retired golfer who loved the game, and he was extremely good at playing golf too • He won 9 professional major championships and he had one of the best golf swings • Now he is teaching others how to play golf without even saying anything, you just have to read the book
About the Book • Ben Hogan’s Five Lessons is about how to correctly swing and hit the golf ball • It starts out with the little things like the fundamentals of golf • Then it tells you how to grip a golf club in how he used to do it • Next was the Stance and posture setup next to the ball • Finally the most important part that he talks about is the first and second part of the golf swing
The Best Part • My favorite part was when he described how he got into a life threatening car crash and still came back and won a major championship • My next favorite scene was Ben Hogan describing how to grip the club, just by reading this it made me want to get up and go play golf • Finally this is always the best the final step into finishing the golf swing. This was my favorite because I had finally finished the swing.
Are you Interested? • I definitely recommend this book to others especially golf lovers. • It is a very interesting book and after every page you will want to read more. • If you are trying to learn how to play golf you should read this book first, but if you despise golf I recommend that you do not read this book. • Finally it is not to long and not to short so it is perfect reading length for all readers.
