Things To Find: • History of the Company, • Mission Statement, • Products, Services, • Competition, Challenges, Growth Areas • Organizational Structure, • Annual Reports • Bio of Key Personnel / Management • Financial Health (Moody’s, AM Best, Forbes, • Rapid Ratings, BBB, etc?) • Legal Status: LLC? INC? 4013C?

Things To Find: Continued • Locations/International Presence • Company Values • Product Reviews • Advertising Campaigns • Charitable / Program Sponsorships • Company Website • Google (Find out what’s out there) or Bing… • Facebook (Sometimes it pays off) • Current Stock Prices (Yahoo) • Current Gold, Gas, Oil and Commodity Prices

Homework • Select a Fortune 500 Company that most closely resembles the kind of business you want to develop, and then answer as many “things to find” questions or locate sources of current information for the company. • Format: • 1).
