Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – History (Brief) Established in 1998 by OSU and LBCC (the same year Nintendo Game Boy was born) Currently has 17 community college partners (That’s halfway between 16 and 18) Between 1989-2011 there have been 12,073 enrolled students and 4,875 OSU undergraduate degrees
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program - Purpose • Improve student access, success, and degree completion • Expand options for college-level services and curriculum • Improve academic program articulation • Degree completion quicker and more affordable

Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Admission • Application online • One cost to apply • Changing to DPP • Students who have already applied to OSU • Students who are admitted to OSU • Residency Issues: Status Differs at each school • Students from WA, ID, CA, NV pay in-state tuition at LBCC • OSU residency determined through Admission Process
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Registration • CC and/or OSU Orientation • Getting Registered at CC and/or OSU • Enrollment levels and grades shared electronically between schools • OSU cannot count courses that do not transfer into OSU towards enrollment • Partner schools cannot count 300-400 level courses toward enrollment
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Financial Aid • Must be admitted to DPP through OSU Admissions • Credits considered between OSU and Partner school • Students need to declare a home school (either OSU or CC partner) • Aid will disburse at home school (can only receive aid at one school • Refund check may be used to pay other school’s bill
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Financial Aid • If receiving OSU Scholarships, than you MUST take • 6 OSU credits!!!!!! • Presidential • Academic Achievement • Diversity • Provost • Tuition Grant • Legacy • IB Diploma Award
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Home School • Home School is the school in which will disburse your aid • Declare Home School on Student Online Services • Change Home School by emailing dpp@oregonstate.edu • Home Schools have different credit requirements…
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Home School Credits • Minimum 1 credit/course at Home School: • Chemeketa CC • Linn Benton CC • Clackamas CC • Clastop CC • Oregon Coast CC • Minimum 6 credit/course at Home School: • Columbia Gorge CC • Portland CC • SW Oregon CC • Tillamook Bay CC
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Home School Credits • Blue Mountain CC • 1 credit if OSU is Home School • 6 credits if BMCC is Home School • Lane CC • OSU is Home School always • Students are removed from program during terms not at OSU • Minimum 1 credit at OSU • OSU Cascades Campus and Central Oregon CC • COCC only partners with OSU • Juniors & Seniors must be in at least 1 OSU class
Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Academic Advising • OSU academic advisor is key! • Make sure courses will apply towards OSU major • Advising handled with academic college where your major resides • Utilize CC advisor to help with individual class specifics • Each partner school’s advising approach may vary • Check with your CC

Oregon State University Degree Partnership Program – Grades • Usually takes a month for grades to post on Academic Transcript and MyDegrees (keep checking) • Grade Replacement: • A grade at one school will not replace a grade at another school • Both grades would show up on transcript • Transfer GPA does not transfer as OSU GPA
