Canterbury Tales is an account of pilgrims traveling to the site of the martyrdom of Thomas Becket in the Canterbury Cathedral. “Life is a journey” is often used to describe how changes and experiences in your life create a story. Journeys are a metaphor for experiences which transform you. What experiences and changes have you had over your school years since kindergarten? British Literature30 September 2013

  3. Do you believe that all people may be characterized by types? In high school, students are often known by the group, crowd, or clique to which they belong. Chaucer describes characters as examples of types. Describe a type of student in our high school who might be thought of as a type. Characterization
