SME International Growth Project Project Elements include: • Grants of between £1,000 and £3,000 match funded for international activities, these can include: • Visiting Trade Shows • In Market research • Website Internationalisation • PR and Marketing • Translations • Missions programme • Le Mans, France (Advanced Materials/Automotive) – June 2018 • USA (Advanced Engineering/Transport Technologies) – October 2018

  5. Re-profiled contract targets agreed following PCR With a further 52 SMEs already Enrolled on the project these will either go on to apply for Grants or benefit from 12 hour assistance, giving us a strong pipeline.

  9. Goals & Objectives • To increase Internationalisation of SMEs • To develop the Marketplace provision of Private Sector support 3. SME’s - £5m-£40m Turnover 4. £3,500 Grant – 50/50 match Global Growth Pilot

  10. Process • Full Diagnostic assessment • Agreed Action Plan • Letter of Engagement • Account Management • Brokerage of Support Global Growth Pilot

Aspirations • Support all companies with Growth aspirations • Match DIT money with Private Sector & ERDF • Target Government money at market failure/gaps • Align with other ‘non-Export’ Business Growth support • Develop Private sector provision • Target 10,000 businesses nationally across all LEPs Global Growth Pilot
