The ImmeraDesk is a cutting-edge virtual reality analysis tool developed under the FY2001 HPCC Project. It facilitates collaborative data analysis, converter development, wall projection creation, and more. Key deliverables include collaborative modes and creating CVEs for co-located line offices. Further enhancements include integrating Java and C++ data conversion tools and leveraging hardware like projectors for VR presentations. Attendees plan to showcase the tool at AGU Fall Meeting and AMS 2002. Future plans involve new collaborative virtual environments for various research groups.
