The Things a Brother Knows By: Dana Reinhardt
About The Book • This is a heartfelt book about the impact of war for young adult readers. Levi Katznelson is thrilled to have his brother, Boaz, back home after three years of serving in the Military, but it doesn't take long for Levi to realize that Boaz isn't the same person he was when he joined the armed forces, he is withdrawn, isolated, and uncommunicative since he came back home. When Boaz decides to hike the Appalachian Trail alone, Levi knows that he's not telling the truth. Instead of understanding the person his brother has become, Levi secretly follows Boaz on a surprising journey to Washington D.C
