Snow sector comparison for 3/25 There is a line where the granules meet – I haven’t figured out how to get rid of it yet.
Snow event started early afternoon 3/24 and continued on and off 3/25. There may be some cloud contamination, especially for night pass. Ranges for granule 0837: Scat angle: 107.3° -- 116.7° Zen angle: 58.1° – 59.5° Ranges for granule 1959 Scat angle: 145.7° – 148.4° Zen angle: 39.3° – 40.6° Ranges for granule 2000 Scat angle: 145.2° – 148.0° Zen angle: 39.4° – 40.9° In spite of differences in scattering and zenith angles between night and day passes, curves peak fairly close. Moon phase 20-29°
Clouds included, though day is clear and night pass only had a tiny cloud in corner

Ranges for granule 1959 Scat angle: 145.7° – 148.4° Zen angle: 39.3° – 40.6° Ranges for granule 2000 Scat angle: 145.2° – 148.0° Zen angle: 39.4° – 40.9° Ranges for granule 0819: Scat angle: 98.0° -- 104.1° Zen angle: 51.3° – 52.7° Like previous case, peak values are fairly close despite angle differences. However, curves look more skewed. Moon phase 10-19°

Ranges for granule 0819: Scat angle: 98.0° -- 104.1° Zen angle: 51.3° – 52.7° Ranges for granule 1941 Scat angle: 133.3° – 140.2° Zen angle: 39.3° – 40.6° Day curve slightly offset from night curves Curve for scattering angle 140-149° dropped due to insufficient data to make a smooth curve. Moon phase 10-19°
In this graph, the day curve peaks at a lower reflectance value than night curve. This is the opposite of the first day. Possible of the effects of melting during the day after the snow event?
