Foundations need to be completed this fall to minimize risks for completion on time and within budget

Traffic Flow & Deployment • Shift change times do not conflict with Scotiabank hockey schedules and other events (Afternoon shift is 5 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Night shift 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) • There are a number of different routes for officers to get to their patrol zones (access to West Patrol zones is not dependent on using 417 ) • Officers are being deployed to majority of patrol zones in the opposite direction of peak hour traffic

  6. Site Features • Proximity and distance to “400” series highways • Sufficient and separate parking for fleet and staff • Public transit friendly • located near current transit • close proximity to proposed future transitway • Stand alone facility and parking • Secure site

  7. Site Development Factors • L-shaped site with limited exposure on Palladium Drive • Future street on south east of site must be considered • Future road widening (9 m) must be considered • Future gas station – visual obstruction, traffic, proximity • Site access and control given adjacent occupancy (Scotiabank Place) • Large quantity of on-site parking (includes 20 visitor spots)
