MTBP • Macroeconomic assessment and forecast • 2010-2012 macroeconomic assessment and forecast - beginning of the year • Economic and financial updates • updates on the country’s economic and fiscal performance - quarterly • Finalisation of the second phase of MTBP 2010-2012 - final updates in September • Preparation of 2010 State Budget- in progress
European Integration • SAA implementation: • SAA entered in to force-1st April 2009 • Submission of application for Candidate status on 28 April 2009 • Monitoring the NPI-SAA implementation- contribution for EU progress report • EU-Albania joint structures have been set up as of SAA entry into force • First meeting of EU-Albania Association Council met on 18th May 2009/ and several Joint Committees • IPA • IPA 2009 Programming - finalised • IPA 2010 Programming – ongoing • Translation process of “acquis” into Albanian – in progress
External Assistance • Monitoring External Assistance • Data on Donor Projects – updated in Feb • Annual Progress Report on EA- drafted Follow up: Request for the semi-annual update to be sent out to donors - June Draft Annual Progress Report to be sent to donors for consultation; Findings to be presented at the DIP meeting - 3rd week of June • Donor Coordination Activities • SWG meetings Jan-May – 12 meetings • Regional Donor Coordination Conference -successfully organised on 2-3 April Follow up: Calendar of Donor programming missions and cooperation agreements Enhancement of GoA leadership for the SWGs • Monitoring the Implementation of Paris Declaration • Ongoing joint DSDC-DTS work (findings reflected in 4 concept notes) – Jan-May • Successful Mission for Procurement Assessment Methodology - 25-28 May Follow up: Concept notes with findings to be presented to the DIPs meeting Harmonisation Action Plan – to be finalised and introduced to the DIPs Report on findings of Mission for Procurement Assessment to be shared with donors – 2nd week of June.
