Salton Sea • Largest lake in the state of California • Large depression 240 feet below sea level. • Colorado River overflow made the Salton Sea • Very Salty Salton Sea
Great Salt Lake • Bigger than the Salton Sea • Located in Utah • Largest Lake in the Western United States • Salty enough to float Great Salt Lake
Mojave Desert • Covers 25,000 square miles in southeastern California • Flat areas • Mountain ranges • Hot- temperature in the summer is 120 degrees!!!! Mojave Desert
