‘Snow falling and night falling fast, oh, fast’ • Repetition. • Urgent feeling.
‘In a field I looked into going past’ • Reflection. • Time decisions.
‘And the ground almost covered in smooth snow’ • Description. • Purity. • Peaceful. • Memories.
‘But a few weeds and stubble showing last’ • Reminders of the past. • Isolation. • Forgotten. • Negativity.
‘The woods around it have it-it is theirs’ • Aggressive/possessive tone. • Claimed area.
