  4. New Patients - A Visit Suffix is Generated Return Patients – Copy from a previous visit Press ENTER to continue • Be careful here!!! Make sure you do not admit on an OLD visit!!! Only COPY. Use an A to admit when the visit date listed IS the visit you intend to admit.

  5. Patients over 18 will usually be their own guarantor. Type ‘Y’ here and ENTER

  6. Continue through Nearest Relative, Emergency Contact and Insurance Screens

  7. Physician/Clinical Screen

  8. Visit Specific – Inpatient ScreenFill in the Red-lettered Items.

  9. Room and Bed Selection ScreenChoose Room Location and Bed

  10. Type the number of copies you need of each and Press ENTER.

  11. ADTP DISPLAY • Check the ADTP screen to make sure it reads what you just entered.
