A competence is /can be defined by: • A description (the name of the competence) • A definition • A keyword (for the graphic presentation) • A weight • A “solution”, e.g. a training proposal • A number of statements (questions)! The fundament: competence (1)
The statements can be linked to different types of questions: • Slidebar (min. and max. value, semantic labels, extra text via pop-up,…) • Multiple choice (different possibilities, semantic labels, extra text via pop-up,…) • Possibility to writecomment • Possibility “inapplicable” • Absolute questions, links to website, video, image,… • Open questions to fill in The fundament: competence (2)
Defining which level of competence should be achieved for well performing in a function • Different possibilities according to the type of question you chose • E.g. slidebar • 0-100% scale • Devided into 7 semantic levels Makingstandards (2)
0-10 Layman (almost no knowledge and no experience) • 10-26 Beginner (elementary knowledge, no experience) • 26-42 Has notions (enough knowledge, no experience) • 42-58 Limited experience (enough knowledge, first exp.) • 58-74 Experienced (enoughknowledge,enoughexp.) • 74-90 Expert (exceptional knowledge, enough experience) • 90-100 Guru (exceptional knowledge, exceptional exp.)
