Test Suite Vision and Objectives Current Status Project Documents Test Suite Architecture Work Remaining Call to Action Agenda
Promote adoption of UDIG standard by delivering a portable driver test suite to: Verify UDIG compliance Complement OSV platform specific test suites Enable developers to write quality UDI drivers with a shortened and efficient test cycle Enable predictable, uniform testing coverage in a reproducible environment UDIG Driver Test Suite Vision
Automated, unit-level As comprehensive as possible: Exercises each element of interface High code coverage Multi-platform and portable The architecture is extensible: New test case operations can be easily added SCSI & NIC initially, additional metalanguages can be easily added Test Suite Objectives
Test Suite Design proposal complete NIC Test Specification updated Single test purpose architectural checkpoint Project documents available now: ftp://ftp.sco.com/uditest Looking for feedback and participation from UDIG members Current Status
Describes project at a high level: Project Objective Statement Project Deliverables Customers Project Rationale Project DocumentsProject Description
Describes what will be tested: Network Driver Test Purpose Definitions NIC Driver Test Case Definitions Project DocumentsNIC Test Suite Specification
Describes proposed software design (how the tests are built): Design Goals Architectural Diagram Design Proposal Overview Project DocumentsTest Suite Design
