  2. JESUS CHRIST - SAVIOUR AND LORD Luke 2:1-11 • DEFINITION OF TERMS • "JESUS" - a transliteration of the Hebrew "Joshua“ meaning Jehovah is the Saviour. • "CHRIST" - "Messiah" the anointed one, a term applied to the priest who were anointed with the Holy Oil
