Monkeys at the zoo… • Our class will take a field trip to the zoo. • While we are there you will be given a map of the zoo. • Mark on the map, with a partner, where you find different types of monkeys (Remember to take notes!) • When we return back to school you will create a diorama with a partner of one of the monkey habitats you saw. • On the back of your diorama be sure to type and list 5 facts about that specific monkey. Monkeys in stories… After reading one or more books with monkeys as characters, make a digital story with a partner. • Be sure to include: • Who the monkeys are (the characters) • Where you find the monkeys (setting) • What the monkeys do (plot) Post your Digital Story on the schools website!
