  1. BAND-AIDS: A STICKY SITUATION by Ms. Richardson’s Pre-K

  2. Problem: Pre-K students need band-aids, but they don't stay on!

  3. We will test three kinds of band-aids. Which band-aid will make it through the pre-k day?

  4. We each guessed which bank-aid would stick the best.

  5. Before lunch, we each put three different types of band-aids on our hands.

  6. We tested Angry Bird Bandages, Band-Aid Clear Strips, and Walgreens Flexible Strip Bandages.

  7. We worked in centers. Then we checked to see how many bandages were still attached to us. We started with 15 of each. 14 Angry Birds, 14 Clear Strips, and 11 Flexible Strips were left after centers.

  8. After the park, there were 6 Angry Birds, 5 Clear Strips, and 7 Flexible Strips still attached to us.

  9. We sanitized.

  10. We snacked. Now, 4 Angry Birds, 5 Clear Strips, and 6 Flexible Bandages were still attached.

  11. WE napped. After nap time, one angry bird was still attached, 4 clear strips, and 4 flexible bandages.

  12. Conclusion: Although the Clear Strips and Flexible Strips stuck a little better, we didn’t think any of them were great. The students concluded that bandages don’t stick well in Pre-K!
