Simulation ofMicrogrid (2 students) • Smart grid: • A electrical power grid that uses information and communication technology to gather and act on information. • The grid operates in an automated fashion to improve the efficiency, reliability, economics, and sustainability of the production and distribution of electricity.

Simulation of Microgrid (2 students) • Microgrid: • Modern, small-scale version of centralized electricity system • Integrate renewable resources on the community level • Objective: • To build a simulation platform the microgrid systems • To test and analyze the performance of renewable energy, distributed storage, and distributed generation in smart grid systems

  4. Location Based Android Apps (2 students) • Objective: design a system fast charging stations on campus
