  2. Epic Poem A long narrative poem about important events in history or folklore of a nation or country.

  3. Epic Hero A larger-then-life central character in an epic poem. The epic hero demonstrates traits that are valued by the society in which the epic poem has originated.

  4. Tragic Flaw A flaw in an epic hero that inevitably becomes his downfall.
