  2. Animal Facts Diet The Komodo Dragon is a carnivore and it’s main idea for a meal is deer but it will eat other things including pigs and water buffalo. Movement The Komodo Dragon sort of runs/slither up too 12 mph! Most people didn’t know that they run/slither slower than a car, that they’re longer then! Description The Komodo Dragon’s color for the babies look sort green , but as the babies get older , their skin changes from green to more of a reddish color they can grow up too 10 feet long! That’s nothing compared to there weight , their minimum weight that’s 150 pounds and the maximum is 300 pounds! But what amazed most people is that the Komodo Dragon has two layers of body the outer layer is scales and the inner layer is skin. The special features of the Komodo Dragon is it’s long and heavy tail , long head , neck and heavy body. A pic showing your animal.

But it can live in deserts too , but it has to be in Asia around the Flores Sea most people don’t know that Komodo Dragons use camouflage to protect themselves.

  4. Life Cycle The Komodo Dragon is born from eggs and 30 are born at a time and it takes 4 months to hatch from the eggs. But when the eggs hatch they have to stay in the trees until they’re older. A picture of the animal as a baby or young. The Komodo dragon adult their skin changes too a reddish brown color . And the adults have no groups so they Don’t travel together.   5. Animal Interactions The Komodo Dragon uses camouflage to stay safe, and when they sleep they dig a hole in the ground and crawl into the hole and fall asleep. The Komodo Dragons main predator is larger Komodo Dragons because they’re like Romans and kill each other for fun and food . And they have no animal friends because there are so little of them.   6. Interesting Facts Deadly Bacteria The Komodo Dragon has deadly bacteria in it’s blood so it bites it’s prey and it will fall dead in less than 24 hours. Cold blood The Komodo Dragons are cold blooded animals so the have no sense of temperature. A pic to accompany fact #2 King at last!
