Lesson B : Grammar4.Using is and are with money amounts Note. In Thai currency, we don’t add ‘s’ at the end of ‘baht’ or ‘satang’. This is because in Thai language we have no ‘s’.

Lesson C : Reading How to read the headline Remember 00/00/00 Expiration Date: If you don’t understand the headline, read the first sentence in the lead. This is because the main idea in the headline must be repeated in more details in the first paragraph (known as the lead) Usually the subject and verb in the headline will be the same as in the lead. The style of writing usually means that the writer uses the verb in the headline and then he will use that verb again in the lead, or may use another verb but both verbs must have the same meaning.

You will understand better from more details given in the first paragraph (the lead)
