  4. Economic Activities PRIMARY SECTOR: Agricultural production(vineyards and olive groves) Cattle(pork, bulls/cows, goats…) Fishing ports (tuna) 3,8% GDP GrossDomesticProduct

  5. Auxiliary Wine Industry: More than 100 vineries in Jerez, Puerto de Santa María, Chiclana, Sanlúcar… International commerce Aquiculture: 27 companies 94 fish-farms approx.200 jobs 3.400 hectares (40% of the Andalusiansurface dedicated to it).

  6. 26,2% GDP SECONDARY SECTOR: Shipbuilding and metalworking: 85 companies which employ 6.000 people. Self-propulsion and electronic Sector: VISTEON, is a company responsible for creating electronic components for many car brands like Ford, Toyota, etc. Actually Visteon is closed about the economic crisis Ports: Cadiz have 2 of the most important ports of Spain: Cádiz and Algeciras. Both have a big amount of international freight trafficand docking of many cruise ships which directly affect to service sector of those 2 cities.

  10. Unemployment very high rate of unemployment: 32%. It’s the third highest province of Spain Income per capita is 7.006 € : 71,5% of the national average, the lowest in Andalusia and the third lowest in Spain Economic crisis => many companies are closing
