Mom Goes to Israel an overview of her journey
School Of Ministry Greetings from Mt. Carmel! I am very happy to hear from you & glad about your interest in the next Mt. Carmel School of Ministry. Since we began the school, Christians from the U.S., England, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, Zambia, South Africa, the Philippines, Taiwan, Romania & Khazakstan have attended. Life-changing experiences with God have resulted from the School of Ministry. During one of our reunion meetings, several testified how their lives or the lives of their spouses had been transformed by the Lord during their time in Israel. We have assembled a very strong staff of instructors & there is a lot of excitement about what the Lord is going to do in our midst. I am confident that the school will offer not only excellent Biblical instruction but also the chance to gain a prophetic vision of Israel itself. Letter to participants –
School of Ministry – Page 2 Our School of Ministry (SOM) web site offers more information & photos from previous sessions. www.mountcarmelsom.com The purpose of the Mt. Carmel School of Ministry is to provide an intensive & life changing learning experience in the Land of Israel. During the days in the country, every opportunity will be taken to teach the prophetic significance of modern Israel & to impart a vision of the Bible coming to life in our own times. Teaching sessions held in the sanctuary of Kehilat HaCarmel (Carmel Assembly) on Mount Carmel will begin with worship & will include times of prayer & personal ministry. Everyone in the group will have a chance to learn from & fellowship with Messianic Jews and Arab Christians as well as leaders from other nations. You will not be staying in luxury hotels but rather in a Christian-run guesthouse (Ministry Center facilities on Mount Carmel) & a four-star hotel (near Jerusalem) that are clean, comfortable & convenient. There will be two people per room.
School of Ministry – Page 3 The touring portion of the school will take us to locations of Biblical significance in the Galilee, around Mount Carmel, in Jerusalem & in the desert region along the Dead Sea. Teaching sessions will be provided during the tour that will help relate what you are seeing with the inspired words of the Bible. This will be a journey for your spirit as well as for your body & mind. Times for sightseeing, photography & shopping for gifts & souvenirs will also be provided. Special care will be taken for the security of everyone associated with the school. We have held the School of Ministry during times of political turbulence in Israel & even war (in Iraq). We are committed to an attitude of vigilance that seeks to eliminate unnecessary exposure to possible problems. All materials for the teaching sessions will be provided by the School of Ministry. However, everyone should bring their own Bible (Old and New Testaments). Anyone who uses a small instrument for worship like a tambourine, banners or even a guitar is welcome to bring it along.
