Start a new project Click on NEW PROJECT
Type a name for your project 1. Type a name for your project. 2. Note where it will be saved. 3. Check these settingsare correct, if not change them. 4. Click OK.
Import your video files 1. Click “Get Media” to import your video and photo files. 2. then click “PC Files and Folders” to find your video and photo files.
Add video/photo to Sceneline 4. If you can’t see your clips amongst others, choose your project name here. 2. Drag video and photos into Sceneline. 1. Note “Sceneline” view 3. Change clip order by dragging
Edit video in Timeline (rotate) 8. right-click on video to rotate 3. zoom for Timeline 2. playhead 7. You can drag blue line up to see more tracks 1. Timeline view 9. Rotate 90° Left 6. Scroll here to see other video tracks (if used) 5. The photo has no audio. 4. selected video clip is purple.
Trim a video clip 4. Undo if you make a mistake 5. Save project file 2. Click “Scissors” to cut 1. Position playhead where you want to cut 3. Click video segment to select it (purple) and press DELETE
Add text 4. Move text box with the Selection tool 3. Click the text box that appears 5. Change font colour 1. Position playhead where you want the text to start. 2. Click the Text tool button 6. Change duration of text by dragging edge
Add transitions between clips 2. Click Edit 3. Click Transitions 4. Drag “Cross Dissolve” to Sceneline 1. Click Sceneline
Export edited video 1. Click on SHARE 2. Choose “Personal Computer” 3. Scroll down and… 4. … choose QuickTime 5. LAN 6. Type a filename 7. Note where it saves 8. Click Save
Purchase the software for use at home 1. Go to http://www.sigroup.com.au 2. Click on “NSW DEC SHOP” 3. Click on “WAH” media Shop 4. Click “Add To Cart” and then “Check Out” 5. Accept the license agreement, then “Check Out” (again) and complete your payment details.
