Overview The Law and Justice Group Automated JAG Reporting System collects data quarterly which is required for your active American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) and JAG Grant awards. The data collected will generate the following reports: • Jobs Report: Collects quarterly data required for the Federal Report 1512 as required by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. • Progress/Financial Report: Collects quarterly data required for the completion of the Federal Report 1512 and for the Financial Status Report (SF425). The System will also direct you to the Bureau of Justice Assistance Performance Measurement Tool (PMT) website for completion of the BJA Performance Measurement Report.
Reporting Schedule Data is collected by calendar quarter.
STEPS • Login – enter username and password to enter system. • Choose grant award. Select “Begin Reporting Process”. • Enter recipient information. • Enter award information. • Enter project information. • Enter financial information. • Enter vendor information (if applicable). • Submit Progress/Financial Report. • Enter jobs data. • Submit jobs report. • Enter PMT website. • View reports.
Welcome! This screen describes the reports to be submitted and the due dates. Select “Login” to begin.
Enter your User Name and Password to enter the system. Your User Name and Password is provided to you by the System Administrator.
This screen provides a list of your JAG awards. Select the correct reporting period and click “Begin Reporting Process”.
Click “SAVE” at the bottom of the screen to save your data. Enter the requested information. Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Enter the requested information. Click on the plus sign to expand the box. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen to save your data. To proceed, click “Next”.
Use dropdown menu… Select Yes if: (i) In the sub recipient's preceding fiscal year, the sub recipient received - a) 80 percent or more of its annual gross revenues from Federal contracts (and subcontracts), loans, grants (and subgrants) and cooperative agreements; and b) $25,000,000 or more in annual gross revenues from Federal contracts (and subcontracts), loans, grants (and subgrants) and cooperative agreements; and (ii) The public does not have access to information about the compensation of the senior executives through periodic reports filed under section 13(a) or 15(d) of the Security Exchange Act of 1934 (15 U.S.C. 78m(a), 78o(d)) or section 6104 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. If none of the above applies, select NO. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen to save your data. To proceed, click “Next”.
If Yes… Enter the names and total compensation of each of the five most highly compensated officers of the sub recipient for the calendar year in which the award is awarded. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen to save your data. To proceed, click “Next”.
This is a summary of your award. No data entry is required. Click “Next” to proceed.
Use drop-down menu to enter Project Status. Provide a brief project description and narrative of quarterly activities. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen. To proceed, click “Next”.
Select the current reporting period. Enter basis of accounting – Cash or Accrual. Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Enter expenditures for current reporting period. Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Only if there are matching funds, select yes and enter match amount. Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Enter program income information (interest earnings) if applicable. Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Enter required information. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen to save your data. Click “Next” to proceed.
To submit vendor information click “submit vendors” to add the vendor to the list. Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Enter vendor information and click “submit vendors” to enter information. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen. To proceed, click “Next”.
Once you’ve selected “Submit for Review” your data is locked.
MISSING FIELDS: The system will prompt you to complete missing information before your report can be “Submitted for Review”. Return to the form and fill in the missing fields. Once all missing fields are filled in, click “Submit for Review”.
JOB CREATION/RETENTION REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
If you have job data to report, Select “Yes” and “Submit”. Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Enter number of standard work days per quarter. Enter number of hours worked per day. Click “Submit” Click on the plus sign to expand the box.
Enter all employee information. Click “Submit”.
If there is no job data to submit, select “No” and “Submit”.
