  2. Linkage of this training to NZAP Project • Training Program on GAP and Postharvest Practices (21 May – 1 June) • Action Plan Implementation (2 June – 15 Oct) • Synthesis and Evaluation Workshop (7-9 Nov) • All participants become part of the MI-NZAP Project

Action Plans • linking vegetable farmers to institutional buyers of pesticide-free or GAP vegetables (like hotel or high-class restaurants) – Aung Ko Oo • integrating GAP, GMP and HACCP to Food Quality /Safety Course – Duljira, Sayvisine • developing GAP promotion materials (pamphlets, leaflets, posters, flyers, etc.) for farmers or vegetable traders – Duljira, Sayvisine,

  4. Action Plans • GAP inspection and certification – Quyen, Kanjana • documenting the value chain of specific agricultural commodity focusing on postharvest handling – Thida • translating the training package to local language

Action Plans • improving packinghouse and its operations – Hoe • training manual (herb quality, packaging practices, etc.) – Kim Oanh, EmHuy • documenting the value chain of specific agricultural commodity focusing on postharvest handling – Thida • conducting an awareness training program on GAP to vegetable farmers – all the rest of the participants

  6. Way Forward • Active participation during the training program • Successful implementation of action plan • Sharing of experiences, challenges and lessons learned during the S&E workshop • Constant communication with MI and your professional network • Commitment,commitment, commitment!
