Let’s Get Started! What Your JobLink Dashboard Looks Like!
JobLink Dashboard Features Your personal calendar will help you keep track of all your job-related events. All Employer Information Sessions & Career Days and CDC Events will automatically be added to your calendar! Major CDC events will be posted under announcements – check back weekly! Have a question? Just ask us! We’ll get back to you in two business days or less! Here you will find OCR Alerts suggesting what you need to do immediately such as sign up for a campus interview before a deadline. Under quick links you will find pending campus interviews, jobs you qualify for and other helpful links to assist you in your job search.
Your JobLink Profile From the profile tab you will be able to access your personal info., academic info., privacy options, placements, change your password and a summary of your activity. NOTE: Most information is now auto-filled from the Registrar. Under Completion Status, find out quickly which parts of your registration you have completed and which sections still require your attention.
Privacy Policy and CDC Resume Books It is in your best interest to select “yes” to receive email notifications from the CDC. If you do not check “yes,” you will NOT receive any electronic communication from the CDC and this may significantly impact your job search and participation in on campus recruiting. To be automatically included in the CDC Resume Books, please select “yes.”
Documents Under the documents tab you will be able to upload up to 10 versions of your resume and/or cover letters. Be sure to have a CDC Counselor critique your resume before you use it in your job search or send it to employers.
Job Postings: Page Features Under the OCR and open job postings pull-down menu, choose the RedHawk JobLink link to view all jobs posted with the CDC. Three additional links include job postings found on CareerBuilder.com, USA Jobs, and the NACElink Alumni Network. Use this key to determine if the job posting is an OCR (P or O) or non-OCR job (J), Career Fair (CF) or a Resume Collect (C). Under Advanced Search, you may create and save Search Agents to learn about new jobs as they are posted (saving you time and making your job search more efficient). Once a Search Agent (s) has been created, use this link to modify your Search Agent and to set up a run schedule. Under Applications you will find a running list of jobs you have applied for. Select a job to learn more about the employer’s Job Posting.
