  4. From the beginning Hollywood Jesus has welcomed one and all regardless of race, color or creed. Everyone has worth and value. We are enriched by others.

  10. We believe that in a day and age of hostilities and divisions, we should strive to look for common ground by respecting and loving others (both friend and foe).

  11. Jesus came to bring Life. Peace. Unity.Jesus came to unite Jew and Gentile.Jesus came to unite Male and Female.Jesus came to unite poor Slaves and rich Masters.

  12. The arts furnish an excellent place to find common ground. Popular movies, music, novels, and even comic books are common touchstones.

  13. Jesus said: "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11: 28-30 Message) Jesus welcomes all people.At HJ we are attempting to follow this example.
