Ayrshire Green Network Regional partnerships set up to develop and deliver local plans and green network activity at the local level: • Ayrshire Green Network Partnership • Supporting the CSGN by developing local initiatives, projects and strategies in Ayrshire Regional Partnerships e.g. Ayrshire Green Network

CSGN Local Authority Concordats • As a National Development within NPF2, local planning authorities are required to take account of the CSGN when preparing their local development plans and when making planning decisions • Specific actions are set out in each Local Authority Concordat • Embed the CSGN in all relevant policies, strategies and plans • Develop and enhance their partnership work to realise the CSGN

  10. Delivery of the Green Network CSGN Development Fund Delivering strategic projects on CSGN priorities. Organisations across Ayrshire have received over £200,000 from the 2011/12 and 2012/13 CSGN Development Fund. CSGN Community Fund Community organisations across Ayrshire have benefitted from funding under the CSGN Community Fund to help them improve the quality and appearance of their local area. 2012/13 - 6 Ayrshire projects, £10,786 funding awarded

Next Steps Long term vision Scottish Government - National Planning Framework 3 Emerging priorities: key areas of focus for project delivery Examine opportunities for partnership working and identify gaps Co-ordinated action Implement strategies Partnership development - to bring together agencies and organisations working to deliver CSGN activity in the Ayrshire area
