Risk & Vulnerability Workshops • Awareness of the wider context of risk, the organisational and national agendas • Understand risk within a recovery ethos • Appreciate the impact of values, beliefs and attitudes on risk assessment • Standardise risk paperwork across all services. • Managers can provide learning opportunities for staff around risk issues • Supports staff to work collaboratively with service users to positively factor risk into support planning
Structured Reflection • Staff attend a group for an hour once a month @ venue away from workplace. • A ‘case scenario’ is presented by a member of the team • The group discuss their learning from this situation • Common themes are ‘reflected’ via the facilitator to the group. • Evaluation in process
