Graduate School options: • Masters in Communication, Technology, and Society • Considered a Masters of Art • Requirements for admission • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution • Competitive GRE scores • Strong writing skills Clemson University
Candidates for the MA in Communication, Technology, and Society must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours including: • Three core courses: COMM 801: Communication Theory, COMM 850: Research Methods in Professional Communication, and COMM 809: Communication, Culture, and the Social Net • Minimum of 18 credits in COMM courses at the 800 level • Minimum of six credits in a field other than COMM; these courses must be selected in consultation with the student's advisor Clemson University
Entry level positions: • Radio interns, administrative assistants, etc. • PRO: Employees can be taught the methods of the chosen company, i.e. becoming the “ideal” employee. • CON: All are beginner positions, giving the implication that more training is needed. Career Options
