Demo Instructions • This demonstration is meant to showcase the rich Unified Communications and mobility capabilities of Avaya IP Office • The demo should be given early in the sale cycle to give the customer a 15-30 min overview of Avaya’s collaboration capabilities • This demo is not meant to replace in-depth feature demos as are required later in the sales cycle • Slides 9 & 10 are meant to be presented to the customer for the scenario introduction. Slides 25, 26 are meant to be presented to the customer as a wrap up. The rest of the slides are for training purposes and what to show in the live demo • Names and pictures can be customized in IP Office Anywhere and in the script
System Requirements • IP Office Anywhere Installation Guide • IP Office Anywhere software must be installed prior to running demo • Laptop that meets hardware/software requirements • PoE Switch • 3 IP Phones (9608, 9611, 9641 good options) • 4 Cat5 cables • Android or iPhone with one-X Mobile Preferred loaded • iPad 2 OR the new iPad • Access to two power outlets or power strip • Optional projector • VGA Cables to connect to projector using iPad, iPhone or Android • Apple VGA Adapter • Access Point to demo one-X Mobile Preferred and Flare Experience • Recommended: TrendNet Wireless N Travel Router Kit
System Setup, Personas • Note 1: As IP Office Anywhere is a non-networked environment, set the call-back location on Bob’s one-X Mobile Preferred client to his Work phone (102).
System Setup • Personas may be customized, see IP Office Anywhere demo guide • Only log in with one client interface at a time in order to ensure notifications, such as presence updates, go to the tool being used during a given portion of the demo • Set up standard voicemail passwords for all three users (can’t be extension, 123, 333, etc.) • As IP Office Anywhere is a non-networked environment, set the call-back location on Bob’s one-X Mobile Preferred client to his Work phone (102). • When Bob makes an outbound call or adds himself to the conference, IP Office will call Bob’s Work phone (102) first and then the called party. • For projection on larger screens to customers: • Laptop can project to screen • iPhone can project using a VGA Adapter • Small projector can be a good optional equipment

Summary: What to show for live demonstration What to Show, Summary • Demo will take about 15 minutes • Present slides 9 & 10 to customer for scenario setup • Show Mobility • Change in customer meeting location: IM interaction between Bob (ext 102) and Carol (ext 103) • Bob updates his presence and availability to be “at a customer” • Bob “follows” Carol to get notifications of her availability in real-time • Bob calls Carol, voicemail shows up as visual voicemail with option to click to call back • Show Conferencing 5. Bob initiates a group conference between Carol (ext 103) and the customer Alice (using ext 101 for demo purposes) • Show Flare Experiencefor iPad 6. Bob receives a call from Carol on his iPad device • Show Outlook Plug in 7. Bob receives an email from Alice and clicks to call from Outlook plug-in • Present slides 25 & 26 to customer for demo wrap-up

What to show for live demonstration MobilityFunctionality: Instant Messaging • Scenario: • Alice gets word that the meeting location has changed, it is now at a different Carol’s Fashion location. • Action: • From one-X Portal, Alice sends an IM to Bob: “Meeting location changed, IM when you land” from mobile. • Show: • Business communication with your employees while on road.
What to show for live demonstration MobilityFunctionality: Instant Messaging • Scenario: • When Bob lands, he turns on his phone and IMs back with Alice. • Action: • Bob asks what the new location is and Carol replies with the new meeting address: “2344 Sunset Blvd. LA” • Show: • IM exchange with a corporate contact. • Additional Talking Points • Communications (call, IM) handled with corporate identity vs. personal numbers which may result in lost business; e.g. the number changes or if a employee leaves
What to show for live demonstration MobilityFunctionality: Presence • Scenario: • Bob realizes he should update his status to let his co-workers know that he is unavailable and at a customer site. • Action: • Bob taps on his name at the bottom of the home screen and changes his presence to Away - “At a customer.” • Show: • Bob’s status change on Alice’s screen. • Additional Talking Points • Presence, chat and visual voicemail are accessible over WiFi network so user does not incur roaming data charges
What to show for live demonstration MobilityFunctionality: Follow and Availability Notifications • Scenario: • Bob decides to “follow” Alice so he can get real-time notifications when Alice becomes available. • Action: • Change Alice’s presence to “Do Not Disturb” in one-X Portal (before you hit the follow button) • Bob taps on the Follow button (footprint icon) in Bob’s contact to follow him. • Alice changes her status from Do not Disturb to Available • Bob gets a notification on the home screen that Alice is now available. • Show: • Real-time notification on Bob’s phone about Alice’s availability
What to show for live demonstration MobilityFunctionality: Visual Voicemail • Scenario: • Alice calls Bob from one-X Portal to check to make sure he made it to Carol Fashions • Bob is in the meeting and cannot take the call so Alice reaches his VM. After the meeting, Bob sees the voicemail on his mobile client. • Action: • Alice calls Bob and leaves him a voicemail. • Bob gets the voicemail notification and taps to listen and can instantly call-back as needed • Show: • Visual VM on the mobility client • Additional Talking Points • Visual voicemail and call-back even when travelling
No demonstration, just talking point MobilityFunctionality: Link to External IM Platforms • Scenario: • During a lunch break in the meeting, Bob can chats with an existing customer about an order using his one-X Portal client. • Customers, partners or others that uses Google Talk for IM and just have their Gmail ID added to the mobility client. • Action: • Talking point only, show how you can add external contacts to IM (no actual connection to network for Google Talk) • Additional Talking Points • Presence and IM federation with Google Talk lets employees collaborate in real-time with 3rd parties (partner, vendors)
What to show for live demonstration Conferencing Functionality: Multi-party Conferencing Click on homescreen • Scenario: • The next day in the hotel, Bob starts working on price quotes for the deal. He needs to discuss some aspects with Alice and Carol, the customer. He initiates a conference call with both parties. • Action: • Bob taps the Group Conferencing button on the home screen of the mobile client and initiates a conference by adding himself to the conference. • Bob then adds Alice to the conference (from the one-X Mobile Preferred dialer). Alice picks up the call using her one-X Portal. • Bob can then add Carol to the conference. Carol answers on the ext 103 deskphone.
What to show for live demonstration Conferencing Functionality: Multi-party Conferencing • Show: • Multi-party conferencing initiated and managed while mobile. • Additional Talking Points • Conference with colleagues and customers on-the-fly – even while on the road • Conference control – Add/drop participants, mute/unmute, lock/unlock • IP Office places the call back and telephony charges are saved while travelling. • Video capabilities with Avaya Scopia (Radvision)
What to show for live demonstration Outlook Integration Functionality: Outlook Plug-in • Scenario: • Later in the day, Carol sends an email to Bob asking about a pricing detail. • Bob gets the email in his inbox and can ‘click to call’ Carol directly. • Bob can clicks the “call recording” button to record the call • Action: • Bob is on his laptop and uses the Outlook plug in to place the call to Alice. While on the call Bob can click to instantly record the call • Show: • Seamless integration of call functionality into Microsoft Outlook • Additional Talking Points • Seamless integration to Outlook, allows for calling without leaving inbox. • Call recording is built in and available anytime, at the push of a button • Integration with Salesforce.com is also available

He receives a call from Alice and gives her a full update about the trip and the new order they just received from Carol Fashions. • Action: • Bob had signed into Flare and accepts the call from Alice. • Show: • Flare interface with corporate directory, presence and chat features • Additional Talking Points • Flare Experience is supported by IP Office R8.1 FP1 and includes calling, corporate directory, chat, P2P video, one-touch VM accessand presence capabilities.
