This study presents a comprehensive assessment of particulate organic carbon (POC) using transmissometer data from various oceanic regions. The analysis includes data from North Atlantic Bloom Experiment (NABE), Bermuda Atlantic Time Series (BATS), Hawaii Ocean Time-series (HOT), and more. The relationship between beam Cp and POC concentration is examined, and spatial distributions of POC and density are presented. The research provides valuable insights into the distribution and variability of POC in the global oceans.
