COMMUNICATION IN NATIONAL LEVEL • NON PERMANENT AND NON SYSTEMATIC • MOSTLY AMONG ICT TEACHERS AND THE STEERING GROUP • DOES THIS SITUATION SHOWS A DIFFICULTY THAT WILL AFFECT THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION? COMMUNICATION IN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL • SCHOOLS NEED SOMEONE TO TALK • BUT THEY HESITATE, WHY ? • EUN COMMUNITY SEEMS TO BE A SOLUTION • BUT WE HAVEN’T MANAGE TO BE THERE AT THE SAME TIME

  6. COMMUNICATION IN NATIONAL LEVEL • POOR COMMUNICATION? ASK YOUR TEACHERS WHY • GOOD COMMUNICATION? SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE OTHER PARTNERS. ‘ USE EUN COMMUNITY TO EXCHANGE OUR EXPERIENCE ON NATIONAL COMMUNICATION. • THE ABOVE CAN BE A VERY INTERESTING OUTPUT OF OUR PROJECT

COMMUNICATION IN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL • POOR COMMUNICATION? • ASK YOUR TEACHERS WHY THEY DON’T USE EUN LACK OF INFRASTRUCTURE? • LACK OF ICT CULTURE? • LACK OF SUBJECT FOR COMMUNICATION? • LACK OF MOTIVATION? • WE SHOULD WRITE DOWN THEIR EXPERIENCES, HESITATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS. • LET’S PROCEED WITH MULTIVERSUM WEEK

  9. MULTIVERSUM WEEK AIM: BEGINNING OF THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SCHOOLS PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT MULTIVERSUM METHOD A : ECXHANGE OF SIMPLE E-MAIL MESSAGES BETWEEN STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT METHOD B : EXCHANGE OF E-MAIL MESSAGES BETWEEN THE TEACHERS PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT

MULTIVERSUM WEEK PROCESS : EVERY SCHOOL SHOULD SELECT AT LEAST ONE OTHER SCHOOL TO BEGIN COMMUNICATION 1ST WEEK : THE STUDENTS SEND A SIMPLE E-MAIL TO BEGIN COMMUNICATION AND FRIENDSHIP (e.g. ‘Hello , we are the students of Vrachnaika High School, 13 years old, from Greece’) 2ND WEEK : THE STUDENTS SEND A SIMPLE WISH. THEY CAN SEND AN E-CARD, OR A PAINT MADE BY THEMSELVES. THEY WILL TRY TO USE THE WORD ‘TIME’

MULTIVERSUM WEEK 3RD WEEK : PREPARATION FOR THE MULTIVERSUM WEEK THE MULTIVERSUM LOGO OR FLAG IS PRINTED AND HANGED OUTSIDE THE CLASSES (AND THE ICT LAB) THAT PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT THE STUDENTS ARE INFORMED FOR THE ACTIVITIES OF THE WEEK A GROUP OF THEM IS PREPARED TO SAY A FEW WORDS ABOUT MULTIVERSUM TO THE OTHER STUDENTS

MULTIVERSUM WEEK 4TH WEEK : MULTIVERSUM WEEK THE DIRECTOR OF THE SCHOOL AND THE RESPONSIBLE TEACHERS ANNOUNCE TO THE SCHOOL THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK THE STEERING GROUP MAY VISIT SOME SCHOOLS THE STUDENTS ARE PARTICIPATING IN MULTIVERSUM ACTIVITIES (eg EXCHANGE OF CERTAIN MESSAGES, PLAYING MULTIVERSUM GAME, CHATING…) Why only one MULTIVERSUM week? (eg ORGINISE A CHAT AROUND EASTER)

MULTIVERSUM WEEK MORE IDEAS… LET’S CHAT… SET A DATE AND A SUBJECT AND SELECT ONE-TWO SCHOOLS FROM EACH COUNTRY LET’S PLAY … SET UP A MULTIVERSUM GAME : AN EASY EXAMPLE: GIVE A LIST OF HTTPS WHICH LINKS TO SCHOOL PROJECTS IN DIFFERENT SCHOOL SITES. ASK THE PUPILS TO GUESS AFTER VISITING EACH PROJECTS’ SITE THE AGES AND/OR THE NATIONALITIES OF THE TEAMS THAT DEVELOPED THE PROJECT LET’S COMMUNICATE…DON’T POSTONE MULTIVERSUM WEEK IN ORDER TO BE WELL PREPARED. WE CAN JUST ORGINISE A SECOND ONE LATER WITH A NEW SUBJECT….

OPEN ASPECTS • FROM THE INTERNATIONAL PAGE WE SHOULD HAVE DIRECT LINKS TO THE PROJECTS OF ALL THE COUNTRIES LIKE: • VRACHNAIKA HIGH SCHOOL, AGES 12-15, TIME IN CHEMISTRY • www.gym-vrachn.ach.sch.gr • WE SHOULD PROPOSE PAIRS OF SCHOOLS OR TEAMS OF 2-3 TO START COMMUNICATION. HOW? ACCORDING TO AGES, AND SIMILARITIES OF PROJECTS IF THERE ARE ANY. WE SHOULD PROPOSE IT NOW. • WE SHOULD PREPARE THE CERTIFICATES. ELENI IS WILLING TO PROCEED AND SEND YOU STH SOON.
