  3. Target 1 • Preparing interesting and informative worksheets and assessments to create an interest. Target 2 • Various topics to be introduced through activities.

  4. Effective class room management can be viewed as essentially concerning the achievement and maintenance of pupil’s involvement in teacher – prescribed or teacher approved activities. Moyles J . 1992

  5. Criteria of Success for Target 1 Criteria of Success for Target 2 • Activities and games broaden the subject Mathematics beyond the boundaries of the syllabus which may be restricted in its approach. ‘’ Children, developing at their own rates learn through their active response to the experiences that come to them through constructive play, Experiment and discussion. Children become aware of relationships and develop mental structures which are mathematical in form and are in fact the only sound basis of mathematical techniques’’. As someone has said that ‘’ Math is a unique mental ability that strengthens with consistence practice’’. The worksheet prepared for class work has helped the students a lot. Moreover the revision worksheets given to the students to solve before the monthly assessments also helped them a great deal. These worksheets motivated the students to do a regular practice of Mathematics.

  6. Conclusion • The Goal of such activity is that the students are incharge of their own learning. They fell and become independent and thus teachers role converts into a facilitator for pupils or groups who are stuck with some concept and require some help. • Students were fairly excited and when these activates were in full swing, there was a lot of discussion going on. It was noisy, but, since the activates were working and enhancing the students understanding, it was good and healthy noise.
