WOW 2-6 • READ: Frederick Keonig states, “We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.” • THINK: What does Keonig’s statement mean to you? Do you agree with him or not? How does this quote relate to giving to others and being charitable? • WRITE: Write about a time when you have given something to someone less fortunate. How does it make you feel to do so? How do you think the recipient feels in that situation?

For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy. A thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own for the children…and the children yet unborn, and the pity of it is…that these things cannot be confine to…The Twilight Zone!” • THINK: What do Serling’s words mean in relation to our world today? Do you agree with them or not? Why? • WRITE: Write about how prejudice affects society. Is prejudice something that can be overcome or stopped? If so, how? If not, why?
