  2. Pilot Cases • Distributed Networked Battle Labs (DNBL)started as a project last year. Industry Day 2009 provides the DNBL team the opportunity to report back on progress and identify new topics of common interest to actually use the Battle Lab and demonstrate the value added to JISR. • Maritime Information Systems (MIS) supports an approved NATO concept and represents a new approach to information access and releasability. The MIS team would like to explore the terms and conditions of an enterprise whereby industry, or a consortium of industry partners, acts as an information mediator. • Logistics Functional Services (LFS) would like to explore with industry the ways to optimize logistics distribution management and the possibility to make multi-national medical care more interoperable.
