Research goals • To quantify the fluxes of CO2,CH4andN2O using eddy covariance, radon and gradient measurements • To monitor atmospheric concentrations of CO2, CH4, CO, N2O, SF6
Measurement site • Highly interesting/complex measuring site • North: • 0.5 km reclamation area with salt tolerant grasses10 km mostly tidal flat area (distance to schiermonnikoog) • South: • Cropland/grassland
Measurement site • North/North-West(Wadden Sea) • North • Mostly tidal flats • North-West • More open water
Measurement site • South/South-east • Mostly (cropland/grassland) • Important parameters: • Land use, harvest, cattle, fertilization, crop density
