2. Summary • Two Minute Drill is about a boy named Scott Perry. He is in 6th grade and is very intelligent, he gets strait A’s and is the smartest kid in is school. He is very lucky for being smart, but the thing unlucky about his life is he is a terrible athlete. Scott also is unlucky because he is always moving to different places to live. So he can never keep friends for very long. But when he moves to Bloomfield South middle school, he is in for some trouble when local bully Jimmy Dolan nocks Scott’s backpack out of his hands and finds an embarrassing picture of his dog is when Scott becomes the school nerd, that and the fact that he is super smart. But when that happens a kid named Chris Colans comes and helps Scott pick up his backpack. Then Chris see’s that Scott has a dog. Chris also has a dog, and that’s how they become friends. Chris plays for the school’s football team and he asks Scott if he is going to try out. Scott say’s no because he stinks at football. But what Chris dosent know is that Scott has a secret weapon. Eny ways, Scott tries out for the team and makes it. So does Chris, but Chris might not be able to stay because he is not getting good grades because he has ___________, and his parents said if he didn’t get good grades he couldn’t stay on the team.
