Each year, 1st grade adopts an endangered animal from the LA Zoo and raises money to support the species. 2-4-6-8 1st Grade Service Learning is Really Great!! “How can we help?” “I want to save the animals!” “ Let’s help protect the rain forest!” Our Wesley 1st graders know that they can make a difference, and they do! Thanks to years of support from everyone in our Wesley community, our 1st graders are always eager to find ways to help animals. We are fortunate to work with a Wesley parent, who has been instrumental in helping The Wesley School become the number one school donor for the L.A. Zoo’s conservation project!
