  3. Who is eligible for assistance? • Active Duty Retired Military • Reserve  Auxiliary • Civilian & NAF Employees • Public Health Service Officers servingwith the Coast Guard

  4. Assistance is Provided for: · Situations requiring immediate attention · Essentials · Solving temporary problems Assistance is NOT Provided for: · Non-essentials · Comfort, convenience or desire · Maintaining a standard of living beyond one’s means · Long-term or continuing support · Groups or organizations

  5. How can CGMA help me? • Basic Living Expenses • Emergency Travel • Vehicle Repair • Emergency Home Repair • Loss of Funds • Pay & Travel Reimbursement Issues • First/Last Month’s Rent • Medical/Dental Expenses

  6. CGMA Quick Loan • Loan for amounts up to $500 • Reduced paperwork • Open to Active Duty Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reservists recalled to Active Duty • Not open to individuals who have an outstanding loan balance with CGMA or who are on the CGMA Restricted List
